PLEASE READ ENTIRE ACCOUNT(UPDATED) Sorry not a fan of the sales tactics this dealer uses. Advertises very low prices on machines, then when you waste your time to contact them they drop the bomb about the PDI and freight charges that are more then double the norm in my area. When asked about these high charges it was explained to me that they had to pay for marketing and advertising on top of running their business ( totally untrue as arctic cat has an incentive program that awards the dealer per machine that is sold a set amount to pay these costs) this was later denied. Machine prices go up by a $1000 if you don't finance it through them at rates that double arctic cats advertised interest rates(was told 5-8% depending on credit arctic cat advertises 3.99%). Winch for a machine was originally quoted at over $500 installed but is sold out the door at reputable dealers for $200 $3-350 if they instal(after I commented on this to that $500+ was dropped to a reasonable $250 at least). Just this alone makes me question the remainder of this dealers practices and am glad I called to get the facts before I wasted more time actually visiting them in person. As a consumer this type of advertising to get me in the door is not appreciated and I will also be contacting arctic cat Canada about this as it gives the brand and ALL dealers a very bad name!!!!! UPDATE: After contact Phillip and recounting my review/experience I did end up purchasing a machine from him. Due to our schedules i had to pick up a day he was not able to be there(shouldn't matter?). Drove from outside Toronto, arrived and met salesman (very nice) went over my atv(non-current model). Asked about lock for top of battery tray that was not present. He went to find out, when he returned I suggested we get paperwork done while locking tab addressed. Went to his office, offered beverages numerous times. While doing paperwork salesman spoke to gentleman in showroom ( I assumed was service guy and atv was good to go). Finished paperwork which was longer then that done in ont for a financed atv (this was purchased outright) and both province and manufacturer paperwork was bilingual, dealership paperwork was all French despite fully knowing I only spoke English (was informed later English paperwork would have been provided if I requested). Went outside and atv seat was re installed ( I had left it off to be easy to replace missing part) again assumed would be good to go. Loaded atv and left for drive home thinking nothing else. Once home discovered the missing part was not installed. After riding for 1/2 hour really bad, annoying rattle from atv. Due to distance back to extreme I elected to take to a closer dealer I have experience with. Sales man from this dealer came out on my arrival and could tell from 30 yards the rattle on my atv was caused by a heat shield that had an updated version released to fix this issue (arctic cat supplies the part and pays the dealer for instal time) they installed these new heat shields on atvs prior to being picked up by customers. Due to dealers in my area being so busy quickest turn around was a week(so lost brand new atv for a week) have spoke to Phillip about issues. Missing part has been mailed to me.
